Easy Home Remedies For Acne

Most people will probably suffer from acne at some point in their lives and might find themselves trying home remedies for acne as a last resort. Others just prefer a more natural approach to getting rid of this red swollen inconvenience. Instead of relying on products that contain so many chemicals, home remedies is a cheap but yet effective way of doing away with acne.

The best home remedy for acne is of course to take in enough vitamins, drink lots of water and exercise sufficiently. These will cleanse out the body which increases skin health. These routines may take a while to start working but also clear the face for a longer period. When looking for a something that works immediately, simple treatments can be applied to lessen the effects of a break out. Most of these treatments are simply made using things that you already have in your cupboards.

Toothpaste is the most famous form of acne home remedies. As soon as you see the zit, you can use toothpaste to prevent it from growing in size. The spot will also be dried out by the toothpaste. It is wise that you do not squeeze the zit before you use the toothpaste on it. A mark will be left if you do pop it beforehand.

If you do not want to use toothpaste, fresh mint placed on the pimpled skin can also help. Mint and turmeric powder is also fabulous zit healing combination. The red puffiness will subside immediately. To prevent a yellow face however, wash off after about 10-20 minutes.

Lots of people believe in lemon juice as a remedy for acne. To dry out the zit, lemon is an effective solution. It will also help lighten blemishes that may result from the pimples. Because of lemons dehydrating characteristic, it might dry out the skin completely. This may leave the skin tight and its texture rough. To avoid unhealthy looking skin, it is always wise to use a light moisturizer afterwards.

You could use vinegar and salt to cure acne, and it is all found in your pantry. Blended together, they are not only nice for cooking, but you will find that placing them on zits is just as useful. An amazing use of salt is for healing. Wash the vinegar off after some time because it is a very strong ingredient.

A daily dose of cucumber on the skin is an awesome acne cure. Cucumber contains lots of aqua and leaves the skin fresh. Finely chop the cucumber and dispense it over the whole face. This vegetable might be meant for stopping zits from forming but, it can still be used if there are existing pimples on the skin. To help heal zits, use garlic. The smell might be strong but it does eradicate pimples. Crush the fresh garlic into minute pieces and apply on the spot only. It is not necessary to apply the garlic to the whole face though.

So to prevent forking out a lot of money on products that may or may not work, doing it yourself at home works better and is all natural.
