Get Rid of Acne Marks

By Carlos Smith

If you're looking to get rid of acne marks, then you'll want to read this article. As a former sufferer of acne myself, I know how frustrating and embarrassing this condition can be. Often I would hide away and just retreat to my bedroom as I was too scared of what people might say. What's worse is that once the acne has gone, you can be left with horrible acne scarring! However, I'm going to reveal to you the steps I took to get clear skin, right now!

Vitamin E oil is one of the many natural ways to get rid of acne marks. Apply it by rubbing gently into the marks and surrounding areas. It will slowly begin to lighten the redness caused by scarring, and eventually eliminate any hint of acne scarring on your face.

However, I will say this. The use of vitamin E oil is still unproven. It can take between 3-6 months before any improvement is made, and there are certainly quicker and more effective ways of treating acne scarring. Furthermore, whilst some sufferers of acne have reported good results, others complained that there was no change to their skin with this method.

Lemon juice is definitely one of the most effective natural remedies to get rid of acne marks fast. It contains safe chemicals that will lighten the redness in the marks, lessening the visibility of them. Added to this, it contains properties that will burn away the top layer of skin, revealing a much softer, smoother layer underneath.

Lemon juice is not only for your face, you can drink it as well! A couple of glasses of lemon juice per day will provide your skin with the much needed vitamins and minerals that help to improve the health and look of your skin. It will help to shed dead skin cells quicker, and allow for healthier skin cell growth.

When looking to get rid of acne marks, it's very important to make sure you don't pick any of the pimples you may currently have. If you didn't know already, picking pimples is one of the deadly sins in the acne world! If you do, you'll only aggravate them further, making them appear bigger and uglier. This also leads to more scarring in the long term, so don't do it!

Drinking plenty of water is very important for the health of your skin. Often sufferers of acne complain about excessively dry skin, which will only increase irritation to the skin. To counteract this effectively, drink around 8 glasses of water will hydrate the skin, lessening the itchiness.

To get rid of acne marks surgically, visit your dermatologist, where they'll recommend a course of action to take. Although this can work well, often you'll end up spending thousands of pounds for treatment, that could be very harsh to your skin in the long run.
