Why You Should Embrace Tea Tree Oil for Beautiful Skin

By Acshe Reineey

From the great land down under known as Australia, we can find the wondrous and effective Tea Tree Oil. The oil is derived from the Australian plant Melaleuca Alternifolia. You cannot find this plant anywhere else in the world as it is native only to this region.

We are able to get our hands on the oil by extracting it from the Melaleuca Alternifolia plant, making a purely potent natural brew that will treat you of the most common ills. The Australian people are very fortunate to be blessed with such a plant as it is able to provide them with strong health in times of sickness, due to their working knowledge of all its potential.

Aboriginal peoples of Australia have been putting the plant oil to use for centuries to ward off sickness in forms such as the common cold or the flu. They do this by inhaling the medicinal vapor that the oil gives off. Sometimes they rub it on their skin when trying to fight off acne or when trying to heal up minor wounds.

It is renown for its powerful anti-fungal, antiseptic, and antibacterial characteristics. Its usually used in its purest form without diluting, but used in little does since it does not take much to achieve the healing effect.

Another great fact about the oil is its efficacy in treating the irritating condition Tinea Pedis, more commonly known as Athletes Foot. Its great for this since Tea Tree Oil has such strong anti-fungal properties, and Athletes foot is caused by a fungus named Trichophyton.

Its great on relieving scalp problems as well, such as dandruff. There are many types of shampoos that you can use that contain Tea Tree Oil which will help moisturize the scalp, instead of drying it out like most regular off the shelf shampoos do. A moisturized scalp is usually a healthy, flake free scalp.
