Best Acne Treatments: Prevention

By Andrew Logan

While there are many different causes of acne the most prevalent are a lack of physical activity, a poor diet, and a poor hygiene regimen. One or all of these may be the cause of your acne, by reading this article you will be able to make a better decision concerning the treatment of your acne.

In the following paragraphs, you will learn how to alter your diet in order to prevent acne. This is the single most important aspect of this article, so we will look at it first.

If you eat fast food, then you are likely causing your own acne, at least in part, by eating poorly. The good news is that you can easily change this; simply stop eating fast food. By cutting out the fast food you will not only clear up your skin, but you will also improve your overall health.

Exercise can be great for your skin because it promotes sweating. When your skin sweats it flushes out your pores and removes the dirt and oil which are causing your outbreaks.

This is because sweating can help to flush out your pores, including the bacteria that live your pores. Exercise can also help to strengthen your immune system, which can help to promote overall skin health.

If you use regular bar soap on your face you should stop. This is because you are causing your body to over-produce oil, and secret it onto your face. Regular soap causes this because it dries your skin out way too much.

Instead of using regular soap you should use a good acne facial cleanser. A facial cleanser is not oil based, because of this your face will not be oily after using it and it will not trigger the over production of natural oil.

To me, these are all good treatment options but that does not mean that they will work for you. If you are unsure about anything that you have read, or if you have questions, please consult your physician.
