Pimples On Chest: How To Remove Them

By Lindsey White

You are all ready for your trip to the beach tomorrow. You've got your swim suit, your suntan lotion and OH NO, you've got pimples on your chest. It is too late for prevention, you need to know how to get rid of pimples on chest NOW!

Relax, even though it may not be possible to get rid of all pimples on your chest overnight, there are some things you can do to help reduce them or at least make them less noticeable. Here are a few suggestions.

One thing that you should try is to take a hot shower and wash using an exfoliating soap. The hot water and the soap can help open up your pores. Immediately after you bathe the pimples may appear redder and more swollen, but after your skin has some time to cool down, the pimples and area of your skin should return to normal and be less noticeable.

Try a product like pore strips. These powerful strips work like a charm. Place them over the affected area and then leave on for a while. Wait a few minutes and pull them off. They should pull all the dirt, oil and dead skin out of your pores, which will help reduce the pimples.

You can also try a topical treatment that contains benzoyl peroxide. That powerful chemical kills the bacteria that cause pimples. It is best to use it right after you have showered so it can penetrate deep into your pores and keep them unclogged.

If those methods do not take care of the pimples, you can apply a bit of cover up to the pimple. Just be careful, some cosmetics will clog your pores and create more pimples.

Don't be tempted to pop a pimple. This will only spread the infection and leave you with a red, swollen scab, which is often more noticeable than the original pimple.

Most important, remember that the people you are going to be spending time probably have some pimples on their chest as well, and most people do get them at some point.
