Top 10 Acne Treatment Tips

There are many issues that an individual thinks about during his/her teenage years. These issues are majorly concerned with the way their look and present themselves to the individuals of the society. The other set of individuals that pass a judgement on the looks and presentation features of the teenager are usually of the same generation or same gender. Acne is an inescapable issue of the skin of the teenager that is tough to avoid. No matter to what extent a teenager takes care of his/her looks, they cannot avoid the instance of acne in any way. Acne may not occur in an advanced form whenever it does in a teenager. More precisely, the origination of acne is thought to be from the blocked skin pores and face the chances of high frequency when followed by increase in the levels of male hormones in an individual.

The blockage of drainage system that drains the oil onto the surface of skin, results in the accumulation of deposits in the involved region of skin. An outgrowth of bacteria in the region results in the formation of acne. When the oily substance gets completely trapped under the surface if an otherwise flawless skin, it results in the formation of white heads. It is the pore related to these white spots, which when gives out the partial concentration of sebum onto the surface of skin, result in the incidence of black heads.

Acne can be classified into two types-inflammatory and non-inflammatory. The non-inflammatory variety comprises of white heads and black heads. The inflammatory variety of acne comprises of vesicles, nodules ad cystic formations. Incidence of a papule occurs when there is a break induced into the otherwise continuous pore wall of the skin's pore. This break is followed by a rushing of white blood cells to the spot, which in turn starts off the inflammatory reaction on the skin site. The drainage of white blood cells onto the surface of skin is followed by the formation of a prominent pustule on the involved site, and is named pimple.

Acne can be rarely encountered in an individual after he/she has passed off the age of teenage. Nevertheless, exceptions do exist at times and the acne manifests itself on a temporary basis at any stage of life irrespective of the age factor. Though the incidence of acne is something that is rarely encountered in adulthood phase of life, its sudden outgrowth should never be considered as something unusual.

Acne vulgaris when noticed in a baby is named as 'Milia'. Though Presence of acne is mainly noticed in teenagers it can also present its occurrence in babies. In adults, 'Milia' can be noticed when there is deposition of sebum over smaller sections of skin. 'Milia' faces an incident of healing over a period of time and therefore do not require much of an attention whenever they occur in an individual.
