Acne vulgaris is a skin inflammation caused by the increase of oil and bacteria in the skin. Even the least severe symptoms of acne can become a big concern for some people. Acne affects or develops on different gender, races and ages. The symptoms of acne will worsen if the acne is treated improperly. Alteration of your diet is one of the most effective ways to treat this skin condition. According to some studies, there are vitamins that can alleviate acne effectively. These vitamins are usually absorbed from natural healthy foods rich in vitamins.

Scientifically speaking, acne is a sign of imbalance or unhealthy condition of the body. Unhealthy body has insufficient amount of vitamins. Thus, balancing the amount of nutrients in the body can treat acne.

Vitamin A is an effective nutrient to get rid of acne and even prevent it. The reason for this is vitamin has the ability to hinder the overproduction of oil. Also, vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant. Great sources of vitamin A are carrots, bananas, oranges and green vegetables.

Vitamin B, C and E are also effective for acne treatment. Vitamin B can be obtained from green peppers, sweet potatoes and chickpeas. On the other hand, vitamin C can be obtained from citrus fruits. Vitamin E prevents the formation of acne because it can heal wounds.
