By Garyl Hany

As a teenager, you might have some ideas that acne breakouts can pull you out from your social circle. You might be thinking that you will be mocked or ridiculed. If you think this way, it is highly probable that you use extreme measures for your acne breakout. Also, there is a high chance that you didn't like the result. So, if you can't help yourself, it is better to stop acne breakout rather than cure it.

Some of us don't have any ideas that what we eat and what we do can affect the condition of our skin. The skin is one of the most sensitive parts in the human body and it is the first to be affected when the immune system of the body is down. The food we eat and the activities we do can help us attain the skin we always wanted.

Being healthy means drinking more than enough liquid a day. It can keep your body hydrated and thus toxin accumulation is prevented.

Following a natural healthy diet is also a key to maintaining a fit lifestyle. It is best for us to include foods rich in fibers and vitamins in our daily diet. On the contrary, we should shun ourselves from processed foods and even red meats, if possible.

Skin that secretes excessive amount of oil and accumulates too many dead skin cells is more likely to develop skin problem. Proper cleansing of the skin can contribute to clearer and smoother skin without unclogged pores.

However, too much cleansing and scrubbing can also cause acne. Cleansing too much produces dry skin, which is more prone to developing acne because of increase in the accumulation of dead skin cells. Cleansing the face twice in a day is enough to keep the skin dirt-free.

Your skin will also get dehydrated if you expose it too long under the heat of the sun. However, if you can't prevent sun exposure, put on moisturizing cream or lotion.

Your state of mind also contributes to the development of acne. If you feel stress and tired all the time, chances are you will have breakouts. However, there is still no scientific proof that shows the association of stress and acne but it is wise to live a stress-free life.
