Know the Causes of Pimples - Stop Your Pimples From Worsening Today

By Garyl Hany

Normally, a woman's reaction when a pimple shows up on her face is to feel insecure. As a result, she will become more interested to eliminate and treat the skin problem instead of identifying its causes. This kind of process is illogical and has no basis. It is more sensible to start identifying the causes of pimple formation and then to treat it based on its causes. Treating it immediately without identifying the causes might lead to complication and enlargement of painful pimples known as cysts.

The main reason why pimples developed is due to bacteria and dead cells that clogged the skin pores. Naturally, bacteria live in the human body including on the skin. If these bacteria go inside the skin pores and start infecting it, there would be a formation of red lumps or bumps. If left untreated, pus will be produced.

Pimples also developed when you do not practice good hygiene. Poor hygiene allows dead skin cells, dirt and pollutants to accumulate on the skin pores. Unfortunately, too much washing can also cause pimple and even aggravate it. If possible, limit washing your skin twice a day.

Another cause of pimples is by touching the face. You might not even notice that touching your face regularly with your unclean hands can cause pimples. Even if you are not touching any dirt, your hands may contain dirt and pollutants from the things you have touch, including your phone. More so, you might spread the infection if you unconsciously scratch your pimples.

Weak immune system can also make a person more susceptible to skin problems like pimples. People with weak immune system are usually sick, stressed or undergone hormonal change. This means women in their monthly period are prone to this condition.

Food intake also affects the formation of pimples. Foods rich in bad cholesterols help in pimple formation. Good examples are junk foods and fast foods like chips and burgers.

Oily skin can also cause pimples because it can help clogged up the pores. A person with an oily skin is encouraged to wash her face more than once everyday.

Lastly, a person with dry skin is also susceptible to pimples. Dry skin accumulates more dead skin cells and thus clogged the skin pores. This can be minimized by drinking excessive amount of water.
