It is a fact that for most of us physical appearance and skin condition are crucial. In some instances, even a small sign of acne can cause hysteria. However, in this commercialized world, some men now act towards acne the same way women do. And acne is a condition that should never be ignored.

Men don't seem affected by the presence of acne because they are affected much later than women. But, they are more susceptible to acne than women. The impact of acne to men is much greater because they don't have ways to hide the signs of acne.

Compared to women, most men are not comfortable with makeup and thus they can't hide their acne. Also, they can't take advantages of the benefits of oral contraceptive pill because their sexual development might be affected.

Some men feel less confident with the presence of acne on their faces. However, you can't say that these men are gay because for some of them, their physical appearance is very important for courting and dating.

Men that are too conscious about their appearance also dress improperly and have too many issues. With acne, they tend to destroy their social networks and are becoming anti-social.

These men can't easily make a relationship as their self-esteem is affected. They usually think negatively about themselves. Regrettably, few people understand how they feel. In the long run, they become more defiant and suppress more anger.

This skin condition can hinder the social development of both men and women. Though they are men, they still need to be guided and treated. It is a shortsighted way to ignore these behaviors because you think real men ignore their physical appearance.
